Sir,
I have the honour to report that I have
appointed the Honourable Mr. C.G.S.Mackie, provisionally and subject to His Majesty's pleasure, to be temporarily
an unofficial member of the Executive Council in the
place of the Honourable Sir H.E. Pollock, K.C. to whom I have granted leave of absence from the Colony as from
4th May, 1934, to 10th January, 1935.

Mr. Mackie is already an unofficial member
of the Legislative Council by virtue of the approval
